Most Important Korean Phrases

Before moving to the syllables, pronunciation rules and word formation let’s learn some important Korean phrases that you can use in your everyday life. As we haven’t learnt how to read Korean words yet, you can just memorize the Hindi or English transliteration of it.

आन्यौंग –हासेयो

Anyeong-haseyo!

I am Rahul. / My name is Rahul.

저는 라훌이에요.

छौनन राहुल इयेयो

Cheoneun Rahul-iyeyo.

I am meeting you for the first time.

처음 뵙겠습니다.

छौअम फ्वेपकेस्सम्निदा

Cheoeum phwepke-ssumnida.

Long time no see.

오래간만이예요.

ओरेगान्मानियेयो

Oreganmaniyeyo.

Glad to meet you.

만나서 반갑습니다.

मानासौ फान्गाप्सम्निदा

Mannaseo phangap-seumnida.

I have come from India. / I am an Indian.

저는 인도에서 왔어요.

  2. Thanks for the list of phrases! But according to the hindi pronunciation, isn’t sorry supposed to be 미안해요? Mostly just a typo I think.
